Yes it is but please get he spayed. if you do she will not have to go through her" periods".(heat in dog terms) Spay your dog save a puppy. a puppy dies every 4 seconds plz spay ur doggy. <3

Yes, she is in heat, this can last up to 14 days and is called pre-estrus. Its the 2 week period after she stops bleeding that she will be receptive to males. Call the vet for a spay appointment.

Dogs don;t have periods. They go in heat. The blood lets out an odor to attract male dogs.

In dog terms, she is in heat! Heat normally lasts about 2 weeks.

Yes I asked this same question a month ago. I freaked when it happened. I was told by the vet that "heat" would last 21 days. Just be sure not to let her anywhere near a male that is not fixed and don't leave her unattended outside. Also if she wont tear them off...get a pair of underwear and put a pad in them that will help with the mess !! Or just keep her in a fenced yard outside.

dogs dont have periods,they come into heat (which means she can get pregnant) so be careful..watch her outside..they are in heat for about 2 weeks..some are worse than others..this happens every 6 months.. DO NOT let boy dogs by her..
