I think they should add new terminals and runways but design it to keep that "retro" flair going. Long Beach Airport is super cool, like getting in a kitschy time machine. It would be a shame to lose that identity. When you go to Long Beach Airport, you know without a doubt you're at Long Beach! I hope it never, ever turns into just another generic airport...

Any positive influence about aviation would really help. With the growing population,airports are under fire for noise, property value
fuel prices, cost of aircraft maint. ect... Part of Long Beach is modernizing there erecting new buildings and will have a new restaurant.
