It's best not drink alcohol while taking medication. I don't think Amox is labeled to avoid alcochol, but what's a few days without alcohol. Contiue your medication as prescribed if you want to get better. Take care of yourself and party when you are healthy.

no you are not supposed to drink alcohol while taking any antibiotics because it will just cancel it out and will not work. you can go to webmd.com and look up amoxicillin and read about it there and it will tell you not to drink alcohol while taking it.

Yes, you could, but don't overdo it on the alcohol -- it can interfere with the effectiveness of the antibiotic. One glass of wine, or one bottle of beer would be ok.
