Once my dog had a tick at his eye so my dad tied panty hose around his mouth so he wouldn't bite him while my mom held him down. Maybe it'll work for you too.

Yellow crusty matter? If you can, see if the whites of his eyes are red. It could be pink eye. If you can't get close, then you still need a vet to see what is going on. Never mess around when it comes to the eyes. You don't want a blind dog.

Sorry, but pets are a responsibility - you need to take him to the vet. He may have an eye infection.

If a pet bites its owner there is a behavior problem.

Do not use soap in the eyes (even very dilute soap)...how many people clean debris out of their eyes with soapy water? Not me - saline maybe.

you should probably take him to your local vet. If thats not an option you can get a muzzel put it on (if you can) and then try to wipe it out. but going to your vet is best there may be a medical problem with your grandmother's dog

I understand that the vet is very expensive, but sometimes it is the only option, if you absolutley can not do this, then use a muzzle to get the stuff cleaned out, but if that's not possible, please do go to the vet.
