Wash your hair in lukewarm (if you can stand it) or cool water, use any kind of shampoo containing aloe, and use a moisturizing conditioner.

Aloevera, actaully taken from the plant, not a shampoo. Shampoos and rubs dilute the aloe. Aloe speeds healing and if the burn is mild can prevent peeling. Next time put sun screen in your part or cover your head.

I deal with this all the time, as I have very dense, but fine hair that does little to block the sun. The best prevention is a wide brimmed hat.

Nothing really, i assume its your scalp and youre not a bald guy. Ive had this happen before, it wasnt bad (no blistering or anything) but it was quite uncomfortable. Make sure you stay out of the sun as much as possible until it heals, or wear a hat or something to cover it up. It will heal on its own. In the meantime, if it is very painful, take an anti-inflammatory drug and you should be ok!

Shave your head and apply a coating of aloe. If you don't shave your head the aloe won't penetrate deeply into the scalp to get to the damaged roots of the hair. If walking around with a shaved head seems to daring, then you can always purchase an aloe coated wig which can found at most wig or hair product stores. Hair grows back quickly so it's better to be thorough than sorry.

It won't look particularly beautiful in your hair, but aloe vera gel is the best thing I know of for sunburn.
