If it is a reddened somewhat itchy area that has been there for a while it is probaby and ingrown hair. In grown hairs are very common on the buttocks, as the hair gets scrubbed off and becomes ingrown.

Skin Tag... You know what those look like? Look one up online and compare. My ex had them, on his cack and on his erm, nether regions. NOT an std, just a skin tag.. But look into it..
Ingrown hair is the other option, it would look kind of like a zit that doesn't really want to pop. May get infected, or red... Turn the other cheek, so to speak, and look at it well with a hand mirror next time you are getting into the shower!

It could what people call fat lumps.if they move and feel a little hard it is a fat lump go get it check out by a doc.

if its not been there before and came on and never went away its probably a boil.
