I was in a grocery store and my 4 yr old started acting out badly, yelling "no" to me, whining, just plain out misbehaving. So I put him in a time out at the end of the aisle. Time out has always been my policy even if we are in public. After the time out was over, I got down to his level and talked with him about his behaviour. This lady was staring at me and then gave me a nasty look like I was hitting him or something. Are you just supposed to let your child act out in public and not reprimand them for fear of public opinion? What are your thoughts?
