I'm a college student, and I feel that final exams don't help me to learn or retain information. Instead, I get extremely stressed, and often forget a lot of the material no matter how hard I study. Some of my professors agree that final exams (over ALL the semester's material) are not worth it and don't help students. One professor even told us that studies have shown that a year after a final exam, students only remember 7% of what they were taught. Does anyone agree that final exams are not helpful in the learning process? (Final exams that are over ALL course material, not final exams that just cover the last section gone over).

As far as I can tell, EVERYONE's Child is a complete genius...and yet for some reason the Special Schools have never been so full...strange indeed.

Stranger still, many proud parents I discuss this with, cunningly forget all those occasions when their so-called 'smart children' end up putting poo in their mouths, talking using really silly words and voices, think that 'cows' are the funniest things of all time and peeing themselves in public..

These are not the actions of a genius, (except Steven Hawkings obviously) so when are you all going to stop setting your kids up for a fall before they can even walk?

I think it's very funny and sexy and it beats American pie which has zero substance. Plus the cast looks so much more better too.

When was the last time you heard that someone lost a loved one from an accident that involved someone smoking and driving?

How many billions of dollars per year are spent on healthcare for those with alcohol-related diseases?

How many women and children suffer/die each year because somebody smoked a cigarette and blacked out and mentally/physically/sexually abused them?

Social programs exist that work to educate people about the dangers of alcohol use/abuse, but I've yet to hear people protesting to have alcohol banned from society.

Yes, smoking is a nasty habit that produces ill for those who smoke as well as those around them, but let's not be so hasty to point the finger at one single group.
I mean, come on, people......if you're going to try to stamp out the "evildoers and their evil deeds" then you need to broaden your scope.
