Yep, my mother is a pill popping, alchoholic w/untreated BI-polar living w/5 guys well 4 now..and #@!* each of them. My dad is a chronic smoker, w/ a deterioration of the mind...lyer...severe alchoholism...he calls himself "DOC" if that says anything..neither contribute to my well being. Both are a pain in the @#!* and are self absorbed. Both are broke...missing teeth ...and few people like them.
My mother slept around on my step father...beat me..and left us kids when I was 15.
My dad left my mother w/2 babies in diapers..to be come a cocaine using truck driver..no child support. Contacted me when I was 18...didn't drink then. Soon as the alcohol came...instant @@@ hole!
Dad lives off of a VA pension and makes money under the table.
Mother has had too many DUI's ..lost her license permanentlty and lives on Social Security and Food Stamps. Neither contribute to the benefit of life. When my grandmother died..my mom told my aunt that she wanted the money used to care for my grandmother (who lived w/my aunt while cared for by Hospice for cancer)she wanted the money audited...and she thinks that she should have gotten a larger inheritance.
They are both A holes!

Yes, very much so.
I was raised by my grandparents since I was five, my siblings and I were removed from our parents by child services. My parents (who are still together!) live in a different run-down apartment or trailer park every six months because they never pay their rent, shower, clean their home, sweep a floor, or even empty a litter box. Every few years they have to move to another part of the state where the sucker landlords who don't run credit checks have not heard of them yet. Not only that but my father is a child molester who preyed on his own daughters (formal charges were never filed, they just removed us). He can't keep a job for longer than 2 months and accidentally burned down the one business he started. My mother regularly checks herself into mental hospitals for attention, and makes up physical problems (IE. cancer) on a regular basis as well. The only real medical problem that she has is that all the teeth have rotted out of her mouth from lack of brushing.
We don't talk about them much...

Parents are like jewels, except that you cannot keep them forever, no matter what they are and no matter how much we disagree with them they are still our parents, and they brought me to this world, I owe them a lot.
I can never be ashamed of my parents cause I'm part of them right?

Yes, my mother never stops smoking and I can't put my trust in my father. This isn't even the beginning but I don't want to get into details.

No. I love them very much and miss them every day. Once they're gone, you wish you could go back and give them one more hug and one more "I love you". No matter how often you did say it to them, you always feel it was never enough.
