Do people listen to the radio nowadays??I usually spend an hour listening to radio before I go to sleep, but for the rest of the day, I usually turn on the TV, I don't even switch on the radio when I am on the computer or working or reading. Is listening to radio an old fashion??

okay once i read this book...its about a girl in her aunt's (?) care because her father died. her father arranged her marriage with a wealthy man named Grant. All goes well (rather unwell) and it becomes worse when Grant's family moves in their house. There is also Helene who seduces Grant continually. Suddenly attempts on our heroine's life start happening. It must be connected to the fact that her father removed all the stones from their jewelry and hid it at his tomb. In the end Helene dies through her mother's own hands. i forgot the title and the author since my dog massacred the book before i could remember it fully....please help!!!!!!!!
