I have no idea why this is happening. I'm not aware of any money I owe anybody but I just got a warning from a credit monitoring service that I owe somebody $92. Has this ever happened to you? What does it mean?

I did have a 'ding' on my report once...the crime?
I moved out of an apartment and did not clean the stove...they charged me $86 bucks
I was pissed but I had to pay it b/c it kept me from getting a home loan. It is probably from some unpaid phone bill or something like that. Since it is not very much, I doubt that anyone is trying to run a scam.

request an itemized list of the charges to show exactly what it is for, if they don't provide one, do NOT pay...if it is a scam, once you ask for more information, they will probably run
