I haven't found a brand of mascara that i'm totally happy with. Something is always wrong with all of them... or maybe it's my lashes! lol, anyway, they always either clump, or smudge, or bring down my lashes, or don't do that much for them. I have ok lashes, but they would look so much girlier if i found a mascara that made them longer and thicker... without the grub.
Any suggestions?

Honestly, the "magical" mascara for you may not be the magical mascara for someone else. For a time, I swore by Benefit's "Bad Gal" Lash, but then DiorShow came out (Dior). Now recently, and I've never been too much of a fan of MAC's mascaras because of the wands, but I was given a tube of the new "PlushLash" and I've tossed all the others. Nothing even comes close.. They thicken, they lengthen, and they hold your curl as well. I'm in love.

Try out a few different types (if you go to Sephora, Ulta, Mac - they'll put some on you if you request to see what it looks like). Try a different one each time you go rather than spending a fortune on mascara.

Honestly, a good mascara will run you around $20 (and you can't find them at Target). I've never "met" a mascara from a drugstore or Target that hasn't flaked badly or run or caked.... but the three that I mentioned hold strong and won't come off without makeup remover.

I love Diorshow by Dior. I buy mine at Sephora, since there's no department stores that have a Dior counter. If you don't like Dior they have many other brands that you can try and find one that's right for you. Just let them know what you're trying to achieve and they should be able to give you suggestions. You can either email them, call the 877# or if you're near a store stop in.
Good luck!!

I use Mary Kay lash lengthing mascara. Also don't keep any mascara more than 3 months. When it begins clumping it is getting old-toss it out!

there is no ONE miracle mascara as it depends on each individual and how its applied. the one thing you can trust, howeva, is a good eyelash curler and metal lash comb. if u have short lashes are weighed down easily, dont wear volumising mascara, instead go for lengthening. if u have long lashes but no volume, go for mascaras like volume exacy and volume xpress. if u have thivk long curly lashes already, all you need is a defining mascara like maybelline lash discovery or lash exact.

Without a doubt, Estee Lauder's More Than Mascara Moisture-Binding Formula

It's not cheap, but it is worth every penny.

It goes on clean. It never clumps, never smudges, and washes off of just water. I will never use anything else.

My eyes are super sensitive, so I swear by Almay. I'm trying Revlon this month, so we'll see. Get yourself an eyelash curler. I know a lot of girls who really like the original Maybelline great lash. Have fun and Happy New Year!

I've tried the expensive brands like MAC, and the best one I've ever used is CoverGirl Lash Exact. The wand isn't bristly like the normal ones and it really does reduce clumping. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler first to keep them lifted up.
