give everyone a thumbs up for answering, or only if you like or find their answers useful?

What matters to me is , someone takes the time and give a serious answer. I am asking cause i need help. If the asnwer is useful, that is all matters. On top, i get the opportunity of having a friend.

Really don't ask many questions...but when I do, I try to acknowledge everyone's input and thoughts with a thumbs up. I appreciate the time they they took in answering the question.
UNLESS...there's a rude and crude answer, or if it's way off-base. Usually I just ignore it, but if it's really offensive or advice that might be harmful (usually in other categories), then I'll resort a the thumbs down.

To everyone, well apart from if I get a nasty or rude answer, but I think if people have been kind enough to answer my question the least I could do is give thumbs up, I wish I could give a hundred thumbs up to some of the wonderful answers I have had from some of the lovely folks on here

I've only asked three questions. Two were when I first started and didn't know about thumbs up. I didn't even know about picking best answer. I would give thumbs up now only to the "nice" answers, not the nasty or condescending. Some people are so mean on Y!A.

I always try to check back and give a thumbs up to everyone that answered unless they are rude and vulgar. Those people's answers I just skip over and wish they had done the same with my question.

I only give thumbs up if the answer is relevant, informative, and deserving in general. I do give stars for very good questions!

yes I normally give everyone a thumbs up, well they took time to answer didnt they. Is it a bad thing of course not. I always feel I have done my good deed for the day then!
