Dancing around,
What was not man made,

Shedding tears of hope,
For what I want to keep,

Souls dance on treetops,
Vibrating the air as I get closer.

Squeals of sacred harmony,
Lighten my heart and open my eyes a bit further.

Watching what can never be stolen from me,
As I sit on a branch,
Fizzing color whispering,
Into my ear.

I love it when poetry engages the senses. "Fizzing color" adds sound and movement to sight--a wonderful poetic device.
