We should not be afraid of any thing. Being afraid of death will not allow you to go out and do any thing in this world. Whereas, being afraid of life will make your life hell.

I heard a quote once, "Do not spend your life worrying about death." If you are afraid of life or of death, either way your going to live a very unhappy life.

You must not be afraid of either.

I believe that to fear either Life or Death would be a waste of our life and energy. We are here to experience and learn. Death is but a door that we step through in our eternal progression. Life should be taken as a constant opportunity to improve ourselves. Without various physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual trials to grow from, we would become limited by our own lack of perspective. Every advantage we gain in this life, I believe will benefit us and give us an edge from an eternal perspective.

dying is so very final, yet being a christian we are comforted with Jesus words at John 11:25, all of us understand there is going to be a time whilst all people who've died would be resurrected (John 5:28,29). All that have died have paid the penalty for their sins (Romans 6:7). i've got lost kin in dying and that i understand that they are going to be resurrected and it nevertheless hurts, that's an empty injury, it is going to no longer be able to be packed with something.i'm additionally looking forward to the time that dying would be executed away with and guy will under no circumstances die back as delivered out at Rev 21:3,4 and Rev 20:14. i'm very grateful that i understand the wish for the lifeless, and that i in my opinion experience sorry for all people who think of there kin are in a fiery hell or a blissfully heaven as a spirit which will no longer be able to be seen. Eccl 9:5 tells us that as quickly as we die we are unsleeping of no longer something, we can be in the grave(hell, sheol,& hades) waiting to be resurrected. Then guy will stay continually and make this earth a Paradise like the genuine God Jehovah had continually meant it to be. there's a e book referred to as "What the Bible truly Teaches" the Jehovah's Witnesses regularly carry one with them yet whilst no longer they are able to get you one freed from can charge, it truly explains what the Bible teaches devoid of all the pagan impression that has infiltrated faith on the instant.

If we are afraid of life, we would be embracing virtual death.... and if we are afraid of death, we would be ardently embracing life.... on that logic I would say that we should be afraid of death in order to be able to face the realities of life courageously and willingly.

We should be affraid of not attaining self realization. Because there is no birth or deat for the eternal soul .We the soul never are born nor do we die. It is only this mortal body that is born and dies. We go on eternally. We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world, one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga), which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra, (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life, they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com can be read on line. I am so glad I know the process of attaining my eternal position.
