How do you feel about public displays of affection?

As long as its tasteful, its awesome! I love to see people hug, hold hands and softly kiss. Now, if they are playing tonsil hockey, get a room.

Extremes, just a little is okay. OR get naked so everyone can watch. The in between stuff is just annoying and frustrating since I am not the one doing it.

The question is too broad. For example, holding hands is a actually display of affection, right? In addition, while some cultures frown upon some types of public displays of affection, others are permitted. An example of this is the public display of grief in many Muslim countries, for what is grief but a display of affection toward the dead, but holding hands is taboo. In many Asian countries, such as: Korea, Japan and Thailand also frown on public displays of affection. Westerners, however, tend to be more accepting of public displays of affection, though this is a relatively recent trend. The adage, "When in Rome do as the Romans do" offers a good guideline, so long as you and your partner feel comfortable and your display of affection is not having an adverse affect on those around you.

As long as it doesn't get out of hand. A peck on the lips, holding hands or nice hug is enough. Anything else, you should want to be in private. Nobody want to see all of that.

I think it's sweet as long as it seems sincere. Groping and grabbing crotches is nasty!

I think that as long as they are genuine and not put on for show, displaying how you feel in public is okay. Take note of who is around though as situations vary and perhaps displays of affection should be specific to the situation. Small children need not be exposed to outrageous outbursts of affection, however a loving kiss and cuddle can make the world a better place. Some people out there do care.
