If it's physical, NO WAY!! No one should have to live in pain today. Too many doctors are just plain afraid to dispense medications that they KNOW will help the person.

Emotionally, of course you have to eventually just accept it. This could be a death of a child, or a surprise relationship break-up. :(

Life is just one big blow after another. Eventually yes just accept it or you will drive yourself crazy with the stress of dwelling on it.

Depends on the type of hurt. Mentally - I dealt with it for 23 years and then medicated myself until I knew I needed help and sought advice after years of it I'm in therapy for the rest of my life. Physically- I deal with it every day. However, it has became so intense that I go for help and medication. I do not like medications!!!!! My body chemistry is not fond of them, but at times to relieve some of the pain so I can go to sleep I take them. If I can not sit or lie down and it the pain does not lift a little or stop, I assume it is time for a doctor to find out what is wrong with me. I do have back, shoulder, hands, and body pain that I live with daily with out medication. I am a little concerned because I have been seeing a little town doc for convenience, and she has not been so focused on referring me to a specialist. Do not hurt and not seek a reason. Pain is there to tell us something is wrong.

Yes I live with cronic pain. But I have learned to live with it. Because I know the science of my eternal soul and that
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world, one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga), which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra, (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life, they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com can be read on line.

Actually,yeah...but you know-we just accept that its a part of life and life is all about learning n discovering new things...-I'm not saying whatever you learn/discover is going to be pleasant-it doesnt work that way. I'm just saying that some things happen and in the process of being hurt-we become wiser, and if we believe hard enough-we may just feel like it happened for a reason...So we should'nt let it get us down too much-its just another chapter in your life after all...

sometimes you do accept the pain for what it is. Are we talking physical or emotional pain? I do know sometimes you hurt so bad emotionally that the pain begins to effect you physically. I did know of a young woman that was so emotionally devastated that she almost died from the effect it had on her.

Sure. We all have things in our lives that are very painful, and hard to deal with. It takes time, and sometimes therapy to work through it.
I thought my life was over when my dad passed away, but I know he would never want me to give up on life, so I found ways to deal with it. It wasn't easy, but the pain does lessen in time.
