I think you should run outside toward them with your arms waving around in the air yelling "Boogity boogity boogity!" I mean what else can you do? If they're leaving, you can't give a response unless you run after them.

If it happens again don't chase after them coz the chances are you'd forget to shut your door before you did and by the time you got back to your house there could well be some items missing from your home! This has happened to some people in the town we live in and the girls are the set up for the householder to chase after while a couple of lads or girls go in and nick whatever they can get their thieving little maulers on! People in the UK can get into serious trouble with the police for chasing after kids regardless of what the kids have done.....ridiculous? definately but that's what this country has come to, if we caught a burglar in our home and gave him a thump the chances are we'd get in more trouble than he would for attempted burglary!

I would not do anything if they just ran away, as I would not be answering the door anyway. If they were trying to break in, I have a surprise for them!!!!!!

I like kids too. And it would be neat if you could arrange to have something prepared for the next time that they would remember and talk about at school and laugh and giggle.
I am glad that some kids still have fun doing something that is so much fun with so little harm.
