you can't. allowing us to use html could lead to easy abuse by answerers, including, but not limited to: placing pictures or other obstructions over other answers, posting large pictures that stretch the page or crash some weaker computers (like mine), changing links to redirect a question page to another website like a porn site for example, etc..

all you can do is post a link to the picture

It has to be a web image.
You copy the entire URL (link), then paste it.
Like this:

http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/horses/shetland/index.htm

Then people just click on the link to see what you want to show them.

You just cant "put" it there. Either get a flickr.com or a photobucket acccount and leave the link
