Legitimate question, as I did not know either. Dick was 39 for about 50 years, which would make him about 89, although the tabloids state his age as 76.

So sad that he suffered a stroke, and since you seem to be into his traditional show for new years eve, I am very sure that it was hard for you to see him in that condition.

I apologize for those who gave your question such harsh answers. Here is a Star for you and a very Happy New Year to you!

No I'm not wondering. Dude is old AND had a stroke...I think he looks pretty good considering.....it is hard to watch him talk though, its a struggle for him apparently....

It'll be sad when he can't do NYE anymore.....I'm a sucker for tradition and New Years Rockin' Eve with Dick Clark is a GREAT one for me :)

Happy 2008!

HE HAD A STROKE A FEW YEARS AGO. Thats why he couldn't talk very well. The lapse with the sound didn't help. But that is what was wrong with him, it was side effects from the stroke.
