I just got a violation for the question that I ask, "What would you have done if this happened to you?". It said that it was not a question. Hum, I wonder what it was if that was not a question, lol. I had over 30 answers to that question and now it has been deleted out cause they said it was not a question. Sorry for all those that answered that question, oops sorry it was not a question. Sorry for all those that answered what ever that was called.

Oh and yes I did write to them about it, not that it will do any good.

So my question here is: Can you believe this?

I checked and I had 37 answers on it.

Jack, I am not mad about it in the least. As a matter of fact I am laughing about it as I know it was a question. That is ok, no big deal. I did get some good advise before it was deleted out for not being a question.

I will say this much, if I get very many more violations, I will leave Y. As I follow the rules in every way on Y. I am not mad or upset YET.

I believe that happens, but it shouldn't have. I saw your question and it was a question, you shouldn't have gotten a 'V'! You asked how others would handle the same situation and you'd got a lot of good answers. I'm sorry that happened to you, I know the situation you were asking about was upsetting without this too.---Luvs

I can believe it. I am trying various ways to ask so that Yahoo won't say it is not a question. Go figure. I think they want those essay-type questions with a definitive answer.

Hi Sapphire, Yes this has been happening a lot lately to many and I don't get it. If you write them you they send a standard notice, BUT if you call them they are really very nice. You might try that, Good Luck. Happy New Year!

Yes, I DO believe it. I have been "violated" (sounds more provocative than "reported"!!!) for the DUMBEST of reasons! Only ONCE has YA every reinstated.

Frankly, their guidelines leave a lot to be desired as far as subjectivity goes. Surely, there are blatant violations, i.e. bad language, etc. but there's just TOO MUCH subjectivity (i.e. rude, insults, hurtful, etc) that leads to BAD violation reports.

I don't report subjective violations... only "sure" ones.

Have a "seasoned" day.

Yes I can believe.
I had the same thing happen to me last week.
I thought anything that was asked and ended with a (?) was a question.
Hang in there.
