I threw my husband's girlfriend's crutches down an old well.
I'm not being a smart a$$, I really did it.

I felt unloved several times in my adult life, due to my no-good husband..... but I never did anything about it, ruthless or otherwise. I don't think it would have made me feel any better if I had. I preferred to get along with life, and find love in some other area, like with my kids.It worked pretty well for me. When the appropriate time came, and I knew that love was not going to happen for me and my husband, I left him. I took him by surprise, but I wouldn't describe my leaving as a ruthless act. Just a decisive one. OMG it felt good, though !!

The word ruthless has never been in my vocabulary. I wouldn't know what to do with it, and certainly, would not know what it's all about.

I am thankful that I can say this, that means I haven't hurt others with a ruthless act.

Has nothing to do with love, only rebellion.

Sorry, but those two words just don't go together for me. Ruthless has nothing to do with not feeling loved, in my opinion. Is there something you want to tell us?

This question has me stumped...this is very unlike you. I am thinking back and truthfully, since entering teenage hood, I don't think there has been a time when I have not been loved. AS far as ruthless? I react to ruthless people, but I do not become ruthless in doing so...I have found that ruthful actions always seem to come back on the person committing them...10 fold! It seems that fate catches up with those who cause harm and grief....I don't really care to suffer that punishment, for I have seen what has happened to those who played these games...no thanks. It is far easier to walk away and give it no energy than to react in any way but honorably. Just not my style. I have been accused of many things, but in truth, haven' t been guilty. It has been implied I am a crook by some here. ... funny, the only ones who have done this are those who have helped no one in their lives...why is it that some people assume that all others are like them? Strange way to go through life. Not really my style. And I don't think it is yours either. You are one of the last people I would suspect of a ruthless act. Phil

Good question, though puzzling. Once I was an adult I suppose I mostly always felt well-loved by someone or other. But I was ruthless in a number of ways as a young man despite feeling plenty loved enough. Not ruthlessness directed at those who loved me, but others who crossed me one way or another.

Lots of anger I had as a young man.
