Cry and and put and advert in the paper for a new worker. The E.U. has bounds but I think it still has borders and lacks teeth in certain areas.

Besides, leaving work, especially work for a slave driver doesn't gain any points in parliament. Last time I heard, citizenship in a country wasn't dependent upon an employer and if one wishes to leave the country the employer has no say in the matter. This may not have been true during the last war, but we basically are not at war.

Why on earth would you think that a laboror would need his employers permission to leave the country?

Aren't you aware that slavery is illegal in all civilized countries?
