Does The New xbox 360 elite get red ring of death?

i just got an xbox 360 elite for my son and he has been talking about the red ring of death and i was wondering if the new verisons get the red ring. i just got this for him in november for chirstmas

Yes, the Xbox 360 Elite can still get the Red Ring of Death. I've seen Youtube videos of people that had the Xbox 360 Elite and it got the Red Ring of Death, so I know that it is possible, but the chances of it happening are "supposed" to be lower.

I have had mine (Xbox 360 Elite) ever since it came out and I have not had ANY problems with it, so the trick is to always keep it in a well ventilated area, and keep it horizontally.
