To Tea Stain something that large I suggest using about 30 tea bags...First in a large pot boil up the tea bags until the water is very dark to almost black. Remove the tea bags squeezing them to get the as much of the tea out as possible. Then using the washing machine fill it with hot water and add the "tea". Start the agitation on the washing machine and lower the bedspread into the washer letting the machine agitate the fabric into the tea water. Let it wash the bedspread with the tea water and rinse and drain, as if a load of clothes were in the washer. Remove the Bedspread and check it for even coloring and depth of color that you want. If it isn't dark enough repeat the process with more tea bags in the pot. Then repeat the steps until you get the color you desire....then just dry the bedspread. For smaller amounts of cloth you can do this on the stove in the pot, no need to cook it however, just let it set to absorb the tea dying to the color desired. Good Luck....
