Why does influx of (matter/mass) on space-time, curve space-time? Is this an ask-able question?

Why do stars attract planets?
Because their mass causes high gravity, which in turn bends space time.

Hence, your answer is gravity. We do not know why it does this, in fqact we know next to nothing about gravity. This is why there is a big problem with the unification theory.
