Happy New Year!
He still looks great but his voice just freaks me out now and it hasn't seemed to improve from last year.
I wish his normal voice returns in 2008, anyone agree?

I'm glad to not be the only one who feels this way. I mean dude did have a major stroke and all, so he's never going to be the same again. You could say it's heroic of him to continue doing the New Year's Rockin' Eve. But the sad reality is that age has finally caught up to him. He looks horrible and sounds even worse. I respect him for soldiering on, but like the Fonz said, I'm cringing too. It's painful to watch.

It really is disturbing to watch. Makes you kinda cringe. Like he'll make a big mistake at any moment on live tv.....

It's sad for those of us who remember his old voice (& it wasn't that long ago)

Yep. A bit freaky. But you know he had a stroke, yes? And so his normal speech will not be returning despite your kind wishes. Happy '08!

Edit: Well, it's been over two years. Most likely he's had all the physical therapy he can have. So I really think it's safe to say that that's as good as it gets. Sad. But true.
