I'm not sure what you mean by "download security" but...

When you connect to your bank's website it should be using an SSL connection which is an encrypted tunnel between you and the bank. So whether or not your connection to the internet is a secured or unsecured wireless access point will make little difference.

Anyone who is in a position to intercept the traffic (ie, raw packet data) can do so by using a sniffer.

If the data is encrypted then the person using the sniffer will have to decrypt the data. If the data is sent in plain text they will not have to work at decrypting anything.

Good Luck

It depends on your bank and the level of encryption they provide.

No don't do it, you should use wired connection to do online banking or paying bills. Unless your network is?

1. mac address filtered only your PCs in your network have access

Yes. There is a separate level of encryption used for banking and similar transactions, evidenced by https at the beginning of the URL, and often denoted by a padlock on the browser screen. An interceptor, either wired or wireless, will not be able to read the transaction. Wireless encryption is mostly useful to keep hackers from using your internet connection.

Don't think so...anything can be shared and seen....but then again, all transaction sites have security locks.
