Can you tell me about a situation if you have had left your gf for another and did you regret leaving her for the other one? And if you did or didn't regret it please explain why.

Neither. It's not the other woman's fault, and the relationship wasn't neccesarily ending anyway. The guy is 100% responsible, both for letting himself fall for another--you can guard your heart if you really want to--and for acting on that and leaving.

Been there, done it. Let myself fall for another, left the old for the new. I don't regret it--New was better for me than Old, and we were neither married nor engaged so I didn't betray any vow, but I don't kid myself about what I did. It was very rough on Old, she didn't deserve to get hurt like that, and it was 100% my responsibility. It wasn't New's fault, and had she not come along, or had I smothered my feelings for her early rather than letting them develop, things with Old would probably have gone on for a long time.

I've never ended a relationship because of another woman in my life. That is just stupid. How would that woman ever trust me. I would think that in the back of their mind that they would feel that I would leave them just like I did to the one I left to be with her. Its a cowardly thing to do. It makes it easy to leave one relationship when you have another one waiting. It does not give you a chance to correct mistakes made from the previous relationship.

The fact he let her become a common law wife shows that he wont commit. If he would she would have that ring.
