I just tried to post HAPPY NEW YEAR all in capital letters, and YA wouldn't let it go though..they said using all capital letters is rude, so I had to change it....can it be???...can they become even MORE PC???

Political Correctness is the last, desperate bastion of the intellectually dim.
The adherents to PC behavior are so frightened about saying something that, by some great stretch of the imagination could be construed as insulting, that they avoid saying the obvious.
If we really mean something, then by all means we should write it in CAPS. We can't highlight in colors on this venue, so what other recourse do we have?
YA is so PC because every person with a whiny little complaint expects to be taken seriously. I would welcome a change in that attitude. If someone complains about the trivial, the YA staff should be forthright and direct, and say, "You must be warming up your car with the garage door closed again. When you carbon monoxide-addled brain has cleared, feel free to write again. But this complain has no merit. If the complaint is due to your lifestyle of living in your parents basement at age 30 and smoking dope, we can't help you there, bud."
So, in the spirit of levity, mirth, and downright fun, let's stop being so PC.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" There, I said it for you! No, they won't let you post anything at all with all capitol letters. I tried once also.
Yahoo has been, and will probably stay that way, I believe they are left leaning in their operation.
They are tighter than a girdle on Rosie O'Donnell when it comes to PC!

No. They are simply becoming more and more biased towards Liberals.
I'm impressed if YA actually gave you a reason ---- such as being "rude" for using caps.
