i cant swallow my prenatals so i crush them is that bad?

In the hospital, they crush vitamin tablets, including the prenatal kind (which has folic acid in it) when they need to be given to people who can't swallow tablets. You can crush most medications unless they are designed to release medication over an extended period of time as they dissolve. Check with a pharmacist if you have any doubt.

If you can stand this taste, there is no harm. Depending on the brand, there may be a chewable form available. Check with your doctor or the pharmacist.
