Your opinion can never, under any circumstances, whatsoever, land you in jail. Period. Only actions can get you arrested. (Inciting speech being an action, of course.)

i will be 50 years old in august and i can honestly say that in the past 50 years i have never heard of someones opinion getting them thrown in jail. i grew up during the Vietnam conflict and there was a lot of opinion spewed none of it got anyone thrown in jail. even today with our current president and his patriot act i do not know of anyone in jail just because of their opinion.

You have the freedom of speech, as long as you are not yelling it in a law officers face.........
If you are in a peaceful forum your voice can be heard.......
If you are in a disruptive forum OOPS...............

Please elaborate; which opinions can have you thrown in jail.
If you have the intention to cause someone harm then it is more than an opinion but I am unaware of any pure opinion that could get you fired.
