Oh Wickwire: You had to say that and I'm feeling so bad about it anyhow but
I have to take a large load in my pull-along basket, and walk to the laundromat about 4 blocks away. It's been pouring rain/high wind/and COLD.
Almost all my clothes are now dirty and
the last pair of clean sheets are on my bed now. Almost all of my daytime clothes are dirty also. It would take me
3 days to get it all done, but alas, more
rain for the next 5 days. This reminds me of when I lived in the mountains and things really got bad, with no food,
no heat, no car, snow every where.
I made it ok then and I'll do the same now. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

I have 5 in my family and so if I only do it once a week it really piles up on me. I half to do it at least 3 times a week to keep the laundry basket low. If not by the end of the week I am dead tired of doing laundry if I do it all in one day.

Since it's only me I do it when the laundry basket gets full, or I start to run out of underware, whichever comes first.

Laundry? What's that ? A new car model? I think I may have washed some towels about 10 years ago, but then again, it may have been 15....I do not know how to operate a washing machine, if I run out of clothes, I buy new ones! Someone comes in once a week and does the house, laundry included. I really do not like house work of any kind...seems to always need doing again...a job that gets nowhere! No thanks, but an interesting thought. Phil

because of water restrictions i do the laundry around every third day or when i have a full load, there are only the two of us, but when we have guests the machine gets used more often.

As often as I have loads. Right now, since our water pipes are frozen up, it's whenever the pipes thaw and the water runs, or I have to take it to the laundromat and do them... when I have the time to do that between my 3 jobs!

Have a "seasoned" day.

Weekly. More often if the cat sh!ts on the bed. (She's old and constipated.) (Like her mother.)

Way more often than I like !!!

I guess I average about a load a day, but usually let it build up until there are 2 or 3 loads to be done. Weekends are crazy -- that's when I do the beds, towels and whites. It takes 2 loads just to do our bed, much less my son's - and if his or our comforter needs washing, then it's a trip to the laundromat since they are too big to fit in our washer or dryer. I keep an extra flat sheet over the top of them (kind of like a duvet) to help keep the dog and cat hair off so that I don't have to wash them as often.
