Dearie, I know men are more for the physical relationships, but I don't think you can have a lasting physical relationship without SOME type of romance. Having said that, I would opt for the romantic because I see that as companionship and that's what I really want in the next relationship (if there is one!ha) Someone with the same interests, likes and dis-likes and has that touch of a romantic to boot. How's that for looking for the impossible?

I have no belief in romance at all. All the men I have met have been exclusively interested in sex, end of story. I now find the whole thing a bore and would rather be left alone to do my own thing without someone hassling me.
(This is not the sour grapes of the rejected - I do have a man who is interested in me, and he is 14 years younger than me. Frankly I really couldn't be bothered and I wish he would get the message.)

No matter what age we were, if my husband were physically damaged or ill so we didn't have any sex, it wouldn't have mattered.. I would never leave him or cheat on him!

I would pray it would be the same for all married couples.

Sex is okay, but it's not the most important thing in a marriage! Love is for sure.

To have a "loving relationship" with someone I trusted to accept me regardless.

I lost this past year the love of my life, my soul mate. I feel no need for romantic nor physical expression. So just knowing someone to discuss "the vastness of it all". To sit outside and watch the sky sounds good to me.

I'm with wyomugs.
But it would be preferable for answer three.
I can't or don't want to comprehend the thought of having a romantic relationship without a physical relationship.

Please note, physical relationship does NOT equal sexual relationship.

Uh, we do and whilst our days make up a greater physically powerful numerical volume we use that + the style of days. to illustrate: 5 years, 3 months and a pair of days previous. Who could nicely be troubled to be that precise? people are lazy, we merely abbreviate it. - Pepper.
