Paper items like old letters, cards, notes, bulletins, etc. I start going through them sometimes, but never finish. It's hard to part with them, esp. all the ones from people who are gone now.---Luvs

My poor old Wurlitzer blond, spinet piano.

My folks bought it for me when I was about 14. It has gone everywhere that I have. It is no longer feasible to get it tuned much less reconditioned. So, it sits in a place of honor in my living room.

Sorry, this is one of those teary moments for me.

My gas stove. I promised it if it would live through Christmas I'd let it die in peace (ha), but here it is New Year's Day and I'm still trying to use it.

You name it and it is something I should throw out! I am a pack rat. When my mom died, I kept all the things SHE couldn't throw out. When it comes time for my kids to sort through my things they will really have a job to do. I have Christmas cards from the last 15 yrs. And scraps of paper with drawings done by my grandchildren--and I can't even tell you which one drew which.

All of my children's things in the attics. They apparently don't want the stuff, but I cannot bear to actually be the one to throw it all out.
