you're not a LOSER.
you're just not involved in social events and i guess you're not very social.
why don't you go make your 2008 goal to make more friends [especially women] and get involved more with stuff?
remember, in my opinon, you can live life two ways. just taking what you are given with and living with it, or taking charge and making life what you want it to be.
it's our choice.
[also your THINKING will affect you greatly] if you think you are a LOSER, you WILL become a LOSER. there were some times in my life when i thought i was a loner and all, but that was ONLY because of my thinking. i prayed REALLY hard that night for me to become popular and get more 'involved' and be more sociable. right now, i love my life very much, i have many, many, many friends, i go out with people a lot, etc.
:] good luck, and even if you don't think so, there is someone whom you mean the world to. <3
you should visit your family sometime soon and talk to them about it. =]

As first answer - it's all about your attitude. I think it is very easy to feel a bit down over New Year's, especially if you are home alone.
Take a positive step, the new internship (Is that a job, I'm English and thought only hospitals had 'interns'?) is a new opportunity, so go into it with a positive attitude & see what happens. Good luck!

It's def difficult to meet people after graduation. I'm a little concerned about that myself after I graduate from college in May. Try to get involved in things.. hopefully your coworkers will be tight and you can do happy hours and things like that with them. ...Hope you aren't judging me as a loser, seeing as how I'm responding to your post 10 mins before NY :)

Don't you think that you're lucky more than others in this world who don't have house, food, clothes.
You're Good Luck!

The way you explain the situation, YES you are a loser and one who feels sorry for himself. As a college graduate you never joined a club, done extra circular activities, gone with a girl and still get money from your parents? There lies the problem. A bit of self discipline could change the whole situation.Go to the YMCA. Join the Rotarians!! Do something.
