Definitely my pets - I have 8 cats and 5 dogs and if it weren't for them, I don't honestly know if I would make it through each day. THEY love you unconditionally, like parents, spouses and children are SUPPOSED to. I think I was about 29 or 30 when I first had my own pet - had always lived places where they weren't allowed. Her name was Daisey and she live to the ripe old age of 13.5 yrs.
My next pet was a cat named Misty, and she lived to 16.25 yrs. I just lost her on 12/13 and am still in mourning.

As for the rest of it - I could take it or leave it, but if I could have one thing other than my pets, I would take music.

I spent 13 months in Antarctica (more than 6 months, no mail). The thing we wanted most was FRESH VEGETABLES! When the first plane came in September with the fresh veggies, we pigged out on the salad bar!
So your list is incomplete.

Books! I'll take that time to learn everything I can.
I'd like to learn French. So one of my resolutions is to
learn a phrase a day.

Of those five choices, I'd take books, no doubt.

I hope I get food, too!

Happy New Year!

Chocolate, sex, and booze, in no particular order, followed by good food. I learned this after being on field maneuvers for extended periods.
