I read this question and Iris Jasmine's answer and wrote her a poem. Then I figures Nalia, all the Nalia's, might want to read it too.
The best words in the Bible,
My sweet child are,
"And it Came to pass..."
'Cuz it'd really suck if
Some things came to stay
But they don't, they move on.
And better things come
and move on.
That's why life is worth living
Even when it hurts
'Cuz you never know
What's coming next
And you have to be there
to find out what it is.
The Texans say, "When the
Wind Blows your hat away
Don't chase it. There's a
Better one headed your way."
I've found they're mostly right.

You two remind me of Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Shelley. He was an English poet and she was his wife and she also wrote some. Mary wrote Frankenstein, which is more of a love story than the story portrayed in the movies. My favorite of Percy Bysshe Shelley is "Ozymandias" This poem needs a title. I am not sure why so many poets I would see at the coffeehouses where I played my guitar said "this poem doesn't have a title yet." I have included citations to the lives of Percy Bysshe and Mary Shelley as well as citation to Ozymandias.

Thank you so much for trying to help your friend. If she is talking about it, it may be she can be reached in time. I lost my sister, but she gave no indication of what was going to happen. If she had, I would have done anything I could have to have prevented it. You are a wonderful friend, and I hope for many more to be as good a friend to someone as you are to her. A caring person is so special in this world of unfeeling impersonal non-caring people.

I haven't heard
a truer word, since I I've heard these in my head.
For I have died a thousand times,
and still rise out of bed.
Do you think that this will be,
the very last
that will happen to you?
Around the corners you must tread
and put those hats upon your head.
This isn't all you are meant to be,
please don't worry N A --L--I
A.
Hang in there girl.!

that is a very beautiful letter. I see it more as a letter than a poem but beautiful none the less.
Iris Jasimin, please don't kill yourself, life is good, just keep on trudging and it will get better.

After being run over by the train a few times, I came to realise that life doesn't "happen" to us...we happen to life.
That puts you in a better position to make a move...to be an action figure..and people notice ,and become your friends..
right thinking...gratitude...acknowledgement of a spiritual intelligence greater than your own...life ain't all shite, and it ain't all cake..that's what makes it interesting...
