i missed work today at 6am and did a no show, they tried calling twice but i didnt answer or call back....and i just started two weeks ago....
whats a good reason why i did a no show and didnt call? and why didnt i answer?

I had eye trouble.. I couldn't see going to work today.


Seriously, if you are doing this in the first two weeks of a new job then you should really think about whether this job is for you...

sorry, I'm a bad liar, but there is no good excuse... face it you need to come clean... tell them you just couldn't make it in and are sorry you didn't call and deal with the consequences

Confess and hope for the best.

If you start with a lie you will end with a lie and everything in between will make you nervous.

You don't need an excuse.

You need responsibility and truth.

You're probably too old for the dog ate my homework. If you are not too old you could kill off your grandmother. She died once for every job I ever had. Just make sure the funeral is in Latvia so the boss can't show up.

say you had a family emergency and were too frantic to answer the phone & that it will never happen again and then apologize.
