i mean you may not know at the time, but you will find out and it will end up hurting you.

Depends on the circumstances. Some things are better left unknown to some, as it can be hurtful to them. Some things people DO need to know what is going on, and should not be left in the dark intentionally. There is also the phrase, "The truth hurts."- I merely don't like being the one telling someone something that would truly hurt them if I can avoid it. Again, depends on the circumstances. Good question!

Not true. If a fire starts in your house, and you don't know it, will it hurt you?
If someone comes up from behind you, and attacks you, and you don't know it, will it hurt?
It is true some of the time, but not all.

I think somethings are better left unsaid if it will hurt someone really bad.... but then again... it's just like saying, 'but I didn't lie', I just didn't tell you the truth!!

depend on the situations it's better to tell the truth most of the time in some case you can't tell would consider a white lie.
