i just downloaded the first sonic on my xbox and he wont spin you realy cant play without spinning could someone tell me if im doin something wrong its down and jump to spin right?

Spin dash (Down + Jump) Did not appear until Sonic two (along with Tails)
So really, You have to use momentum to build up a good spin dash and the ability is not present in Sonic one

the only way to do it is when you're running, push down
being able to spin from a standing start wasn't in the first sonic game

I know it for game cube but not for xbox, sorry. I wish i could help. You should go to www.cheatcheat.com/ for more help. before u do that try to just hold down the attack button other wise look it up on the internet. hope this helps
