Too much light pollution where I live. I have to drive about 1/2 hour into Marin County, the back of Mt. Tam will do. I sometimes drag my scope out there to check out the Trapezium in Orion, and other cool stuff. On a dark night with a pair of 10x25 binoculars, you can see thousands of stars.

not that much..
I'm not even in downtown LA i'm actually in the suburb of it and i can only see a couple here and there

although it's nice to look at the pretty lights.. i want to see nature!
dumb light pollution!!

I live in a small town where there is not that much light pollution. And can see the milkyway easily, bright and beautiful.

It's too cloudy to see any stars here, unless you count all those supposed "STARS" on TV tonight. lol

This State is finicky that way. No two days are alike. But I have grown to love it.

they are normally easy to see here. I am not feeling good so, i have not been outside tonight.

Pretty clear.
I think I can see the Southern Cross.
I'm not good with astronomy, so I wouldn't know.
