Yep, loved his work. I am about a year older than you and have loved FM and Queen since I was about 14 or 15. I loved the theatrical aspect of FM. Anyway just recently my daughter introduced me to the music of MIKA who has been compared to FM and I have to say I am now as obsessed with MIKA songs as I was/am with Queen. In fact I use MIKA songs for my ring tones. Go and listen to Love Today, Lollipop, My interpertation, Happy Ending etc etc.

I do because I was just a wee little thing when he died and so I got the leftovers (memories from everyone else who actually got to see him in person). I love Queen and he was definitely a very talented man. I'm a second generation fan. :(

Even though I don't agree with his lifestyle, the man could sing. I enjoy most of Queen's songs and will not regret ever saying so.

I feel sad because even though his lifestyle was questionable,he along with the Rest of Queen were an Icon for the time I was young.Between my friend and I we mustve had at least 300 records,He had all the Queen albums. But you werent cool in those days if Night at the Opera wasnt in your collection.I'm 42

I'm over it. He really wasn't even on the radar screen for the last 10+ years of his life even though its now fashionable to pretend he was popular right up until his death.
