Jesus would never get involved in politics. The Right Wingers that defame his name have screwed it up too much. Besides, He was not interested in the politics of His day--He was interested in the hearts of people.
Do Conservatives realize that if you reached out to these unwed mothers and ministered to them like Jesus did, abortions would drop?
Mel...your whining is typical of Conservatives of today. If He were here, He would tell Christians of today to *suck it up!* He told his Apostles in John 16:33:
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
How many did he turn from their wicked ways by just reaching out to them, loving them, yet Conservatives think the only way to react to things is to scream "LIBERAL!"

We won't need to worry about politics when Jesus comes back. But to answer your question, I doubt that he would support either party. They are both full to bursting with politicians that are hypocrites and liars.

I heard Mike Huckabee in a debate say that Jesus said, "Love your neighbor as thyself and if you do it to the least among us, you do it to me. If you don't get that, the rest of it is way too complicated." Jesus would not be comfortable in most of our churches!

I'm Republican and a Christian.
Jesus would not have anything to do with politics. Just like thousands of years ago, people thought the Messiah would be a political figure, Jesus showed that there is a whole other issue that is more important. Following the Lord's word. It has nothing to do with people's laws and disagreements.
Times have changed, but people haven't. Neither has Christ.

Jesus would vote in support of strict-adherence to Jewish religious law.
..as I recall, that was his big interest back-in-the-day.
Dear "Mel",
please consider this quote:
"In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own."
-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Horatio G. Spafford, March 17, 1814
Cheers.

I am not a christian but I do believe and respect Jesus as a great moral philiospher. He would be so angry that people make decisons and commit horrible acts in his name. These are not real christians. Beautiful poem thanks for sharing.
