Ok do you think I am germ-phobic or just sensible? I wash my hands after using an ATM or pushing a shopping cart, and I try to avoid touching door handles on public toilets etc. Also I will not prepare ANY food without washing my hands first and I will never swim in public swimming pools. Am I germ-phobic or not? Thanks guys,

I do not think you are a germ-phobic. Those are some of the most contaminated places/things. You are just being smart and don't let anyone make you feel wrong about being so.

i do no longer hate germ phobic people. i will completely understand that it relatively is extremely stressy for them to handle. it is not elementary getting on with daily issues once you be bothered by OCD. there is not any reason to hate germ phobic people.

I wash my hands before I cook anything, but that's about it. When I worked as a mechanic; really filthy work, it seemed like no one ever got sick. Office workers are always getting sick.

kinda, only of you think you worry so much

When you start to be annoying for the others, you could be so

But washing hands before eat or prepare food, befopre and after toilet, and after excesive money contact, is really basic on personal higiene

I wash my hands often, and try to not touch obviously germ sources things like door handles on bathrooms, but the thing you have to do, is not to swoh you're so to the others so they don't note that on you so much.that's it, bout I think you're doing right things

here in my country there are on the radio an ad that says "A child dies every .... # minutes beacuse of diarrea, because someone doesn't wash their hands after toilet".. a truth.. not nice to hear...but truth

I think you are nothing but sensible. That is the perfect example of a normal person. Swimming in public pools can be dangerous because there may be an umpteenth number of germs. I don't think you are overreacting - it's completely normal.

Happy New Year!

No, that's the norm. I do all of the above, but I carry hand wipes everywhere I go.
