I recently had my bathroom remodeled with ceramic tile. Now my bathtub faucet has a steady drip. Is there an easy way I can fix the drip from the handle. It's a one handle lever system by Delta.

If it is annoying, for a temporary fix, you could hang a piece of string from the faucet, so the drip will be absorbed and not be so loud on the way down. :)

It is a simple fix, not taking much more than 15 min to fix, and as you have had the bathroom fitted new, it should be no problem in getting your plumber back.

Remember, if you attempt to fix it and fail, the plumber would then be in his rights to charge you. When he looks at it he may find a fault with the tap fitting, in that case it may need to be returned to the suppler.

A dripping tap although a nuisance is something that you can live with for a while, so give the plumber a break today as it is new year and give him a ring later in the week.

Happy new year from the UK.

If everything is new, the faucet shouldn't be dripping. Call the plumber who did it and tell him of the problem and you would expect him to fix it for free. If not, report him to Better Business bureau for shoddy workmanship.

You can fix it by replacing the rubber washer in the knob. You can buy a package of assorted washers at any hardware store for about a buck
