If you are looking for something casual, but classic, I would suggest the following:
- dark blue jeans
- black or blue sports/suit coat
- striped dress shirt (black and blue would be a good a good way to combine blue jeans with a black jacket
- black dress shoes (make sure they are polished... women are always checking out the shoes on a man)
- white v-neck shirt under the dress shirt and one button undone (never wear a crew neck that shows under an open neck dress shirt and too many buttons undone is way too David Hasslehoff).

Wear dress pants with a normal shirt and a brown leather jacket. It will make you look a little dressed up but casual. Make a wish tonight at 11:11 for good luck!

for you, i think you should wear a nice pair of jeans, a nice button down colllar shirt and a sport jacket. you will be comfortable and still feel free to dance, and you can still stay warm at the same time too. ohh dont forget nice comfortable dress shoes too. have fun :) about the good luck and good fortune, i really dont know......... sorry

black and silver are the in colors. wear a nice dress. on new years day it is traditional to eat black-eyed peas for fortune and good luck. for make-up a little glitter at the corner of your eyes will make them sparkle and bring joy to all those that gaze into them for your special new year's day kiss at midnight. happy new year!!
