I meant they got spanked to a similar degree in the 2 bowl games I referred to, not that FSU was their opponent both times!

Yes. The last bowl game I went to was the Sugar Bowl of 2005 for the 2004 season in New Orleans.
AUBURN beat Virginia tech to finish an undefeated 13-0 season and get robbed at a chance to play for the Championship.
I also went to the AUBURN vs. Georgia game that year and the SEC championship game, AUBURN vs. Tennessee.

I have never been to any bowl game, but would LOVE to go to one sometime. I wouldn't even be picky -- any bowl, anywhere.

It was Oklahoma State that spanked Indiana. I was at the 2003 National Championship game (OU vs. LSU). I have been to a couple of smaller Bowl games also.

yup! i saw florida state beat west virginia in the gator bowl on new year's day in 2005.

grew up in memphis, i've been to several liberty bowls.
been to the independence bowl and the cotton bowl.
(what's the friggin' point of answering a question like this if you have never been anywhere?)
oh..and the peach bowl too.
