When ever I ask about a specific antivirus, all people come quickly and say free ones free ones and specially AVG.....why people like free ones the most?because it's just free?or they really provide superior protection?
According to many reviews, AVG can detect 88% of computer viruses. ...and in my openion this is a low rating.

I don't use a free antivirus. I use for the past ten years the antivirus that the Govt. Of China uses. Never had one virus in the past ten years. You only pay a one time fee of $29.99 for life that includes updates X 3 or X 4 pery day, plus all new versions for life.

State of the art technology that is light years ahead of any other antivirus program on the market. (I can tell you that you will have to evaluate for thirty days with a key they will send you). The Chinese don't take part in evaluations against other antivirus programs, and they don't advertise the software.

Most people who gravitate towards the internet, like yahoo answers, like free software much more than expensive. Norton Antivirus manages to suck and blow at the same time by destroying your computer trying to fix it.

Free software simply doesn't try to take over your computer as much. Norton and McAfee tend to consume all your resources, and don't do a much better job than free Avast! and AVg

because some protection is better than none and lots of people can think of better things to spend $100 or more bux on than a virus program.

We are all out to save money and still get quality in any way we can. I have used AVG for over a year and have had very few problems at all compared to previously.

Yahoo! Online Protection is free and is the best internet security I've ever used. Blocks stuff before it even has a chance to get in.
