Tonight I've been feeling kind of weird. I have this weird feeling, I don't know how to describe it. This is the first year in a very long time that I have been at home for New Year's Eve, normally I'm out doing something with my family (I'm only 14). However, this year I'm stuck at home. I'm not feeling very festive. I wish I could go out and celebrate somewhere, but there's nowhere I could go. Also, starting January 1, it's the last day of my Christmas vacation and I'm going to be sad all day about having to go to bed early again and waking up early, and I'll miss just sitting around all week. I feel like I'm stuck here with nothing to do, and it just seems like another day to me, nothing special. I want to get more in the spirit, but I don't know how.

It's the exact same for me this year too, unfortunately. The way I'm getting over it is drowning my sorrows in...Martinelli's... (hahah?) and I'm going to watch Dick Clark's New Year's Eve (like every year.)
As far as the school thing goes, that absolutely sucks. I guess the way to get through it would be look forward to summer.
If nothing else, call one of your friends just to talk if you can't hang out with anyone.
Good luck getting over that crappy feeling. =/
